It is very nice quality and looks almost identical to the picture. I think the colors may not be as vibrant as depicted, but that is probably a function of the lighting in the room. I was pleasantly surprised with this set! Yes, it is polyester, but does not feel or breath like it. The top of the duvet is rich and satiny, and not in that shiny, cheap, scratchy way. The underside has almost a sueded feel, moves well with the sheet and is very soft to the touch. If I was pressured, I might say that the fabric was a little thin, but with a hefty down comforter inside, it is quite warm and seems much more expensive than what I paid. The throws are also equally high quality, though one arrived a bit lumpy. The pattern is GORGEOUS, and I felt that the picture was very accurate in color. It's a very pale blue/seafoam and the pattern is white and taupe. The picture does NOT do the decoration justice...it looks quite expensive.
