It does look cool when your bed is made, but you just don't want to lay on top of it. The outside material feels like they somehow mixed fabric with sandpaper. That "sandpaper" material also is found around the edges of the pillow cases making them uncomfortable as well. The "shiny material" sticks to your skin and is quite uncomfortable to sleep on. You basically have to flip the pillows on their backs just to use them and fold in the edges, unless you like sleeping on scratchy, rough fabric. I do not.Again, if you sweat at all then the "shiny material" will stick to your skin and it has a certain smell. You have to get completely under the main comforter to get to the soft material, and you can't put your arms over the comforter due to the uncomfortable "shiny material".
